Privacy Policy
Who we are
RD Flip is a digital flipbook platform for photography studios and labs. We help you turn album images into browser-based flipbooks, manage them from a dashboard, and share them with clients through links and QR codes.
Information we collect
When you create an account we collect details such as your name, email, phone number, studio name, date of birth (if provided), and social links (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook). When you create a flipbook we also store customer/event details you enter (for example client name and function date), studio branding for that book, uploaded page images, and share identifiers used for public viewing and QR codes.
Account, credits, and payments
We store your credit balance, credit expiry, plan history, and order/payment records needed to run billing. Payment processing is handled through our payment partner (for example Razorpay). We do not store your full card details on RD Flip servers.
How we use your information
We use your data to create and host flipbooks, show your library and search filters, attach your profile or per-book social links, generate preview and QR sharing, manage free and paid credits, process recharges, provide support, and improve product reliability and security.
Public flipbook sharing
Flipbooks you create can be opened by anyone who has the share link or QR code, without installing an app. Content you publish in a flipbook (images, titles, studio name, and optional social links) may be visible to those viewers. Please only upload and share content you have the right to publish.
Photos and media storage
Album images you upload are stored securely on our cloud storage so pages can be delivered in the flipbook viewer. We use these files only to operate the RD Flip service for your account unless we are required by law to retain or disclose them.
Cookies and device data
We may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, security, and basic product analytics so the dashboard and viewer work correctly across devices.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us run hosting, storage, email/SMS (if used), and payment processing, only as needed to provide RD Flip. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and users.
Data retention
We keep account, flipbook, credit, and payment records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, security, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account or specific content subject to our technical and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can update profile and social links in the dashboard, control what you put in each flipbook, and choose when to share QR/links. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us using the details on our website contact section.
Security
We use industry-standard practices such as authenticated access, encrypted connections, and controlled cloud storage. No online service is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login private.
Children’s privacy
RD Flip is intended for photography businesses and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as RD Flip grows. The updated date above will change when we revise it. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
